The List

He's making a LIST
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town.

No... this is not THE LIST I was referring to.

I'm talking about the real list...you know, the important one.

My Before Christmas List

  • Buy wrapping paper, ribbon and bows
  • Put out decor family members have made for us, before their visit (Ok,you know you do it too)
  •  Place Christmas CD's in convenient location to play continually
  • Move all Christmas coffee cups & mugs to bottom shelf, store all others away as Christmas cups are the only ones allowed to be used in the month of December
  • Help Keith make Christmas Dinner Menu and hand him the list as he heads out to the grocery store
  • Ask Sons, one more time what they want for Christmas
  • Clean guest room for daughter and son in law who will be visiting for 7 whole days at Christmas (Yay!)
  • Finish buying stocking stuffers that don't add up to $75 a stocking!
  • Put up Nativity Scene Flag outside (Jesus is the reason for the season!)
  • Finish Christmas Shopping before Christmas Eve
  • Wrap Gifts and put under tree
  • Buy Fresh Christmas Tree and Decorate
  • Make another batch of homemade hot chocolate mix
  • Take some nice slow deep breaths

And, I know how much you all wanted to be reminded again...
Only 17 more days!!

I need a list! I love your note about not spending $75 a stocking! Isn't it crazy that the stocking ends up being nearly the most expensive gift!?! Yikes!

Good luck with your list!!! Enjoy this joyous season!!!

I need to print your list because I'm to busy to even think of my list (busy, lazy?)
I think I'll put your last as my first.

Across the country is me with a very similar list. So happy about the one that daughter and son-in-law are coming for a long stay. Sadly, your list added a few lines to my list that I had not thought of. Thanks for the countdown number:)
