What I Have Learned

What I Have Learned

Sometimes the Encourager needs encouraging.

It is good to listen to that still small voice.

Watching too many shows on  ID- Investigative Discovery Channel can make you paranoid.

It is better to give your adult children advice...only when asked for.

Wearing your heart on your sleeve makes you vulnerable.

Making your yearly Gyno appointment can cause heart palpitations and
keeping the appointment can cause high blood pressure.

Listening to old songs like,
"Julie, Julie, Julie- Do You Love Me?" by Bobby Sherman
& "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat" by David Cassidy still gives me chills.

It never gets easier when each bird leaves the nest.

Being married to one man for 3 decades makes you...thankful.

Having a sister is the BEST!

And... last but not least,

Communication is the key to any successful relationship.

All good pieces of advice, especially thaty communication one...we are not always the best at that one!

Here's another one, I read it in a book somewhere and it makes sense applied to a lot of things: Be particular.

Just what we need to hear and need to learn.

Oh my goodness, Cricket, I kept nodding my head through this whole post! Seriously, I could have written them all, especially when you got to Bobby and David. Swoon.

And thanks to you, I'm now singing "Julie Julie Julie" in my head. If I morph into David Cassidy, though, it'll be "I Think I Love You".

Enjoyed this!
