Weekending!

I thought that I would share a few fun things
that I did this weekend.

On Saturday, I went to see this play-

at the Pantages in L.A. ,
 with my sister in law and mother in law.

If you have never seen Wicked,
I highly recommend seeing it.
 It is "wicked cool" (as they say in Boston)

What a fun Girl's Day Out we had!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then on Sunday, we were on the hunt
for just the right Christmas Tree.
We get a "real" tree every year. We just
love that "fresh" Christmas tree scent,
that fills our home year after year.
In the past, we have found our trees at
Target, or a corner Christmas tree lot.
But last year, we found a local Christmas Tree Farm
where you can buy a freshly cut tree
 or cut one down yourself.
The Christmas Tree Farm came through once
again this year, as me, my husband & youngest son
found just the right Christmas Tree.
Isn't it beautiful?!
So, home we came with that beautiful
Christmas Tree.
With many helping hands,
up went the lights and ornaments.
We definitely picked ...
just the right tree.
Because when you know...
You just know.
Your tree is beautiful.
A tree speaks to you and like you say, you just know!
Looks like you are all ready.
It's beautiful, and I love and have a real one too. They are harder to decorate I think, but I still love them.
We saw "Wicked" in October. It was an early birthday present from my husband. He knew I would be too busy to celebrate my birthday on the actual day. It was wonderful. What a message!
What a gorgeous tree! I like fresh trees too, and especially I like the cozy, warm way you decorated for Christmas. Makes one want to sit down and just soak in all the beauty of the season. Hope you have a good Saturday!
Very pretty tree! We like a fresh one too, and cut one down every year. My daughter and I are headed to NYC in April to see Wicked then, and we can't wait! I'm glad you gave it a good review.
