be yourself.

Even as an adult, sometimes I need to
remind myself to just...
be myself.

We can all get caught up in what the
world wants us to be as wives, friends, mothers,
siblings, leaders, parents, grandparents, teachers,  co-workers and bloggers.

We can, at times, feel unworthy if we can't
be the BEST at even one,
 in the above category list.

But God wants us to follow His lead
and not worry about what others
may think about us.  It is what He thinks
of us-- that is most important.

He created each one of us uniquely
and creatively different.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:14

We live in a world that tells us we have to
look this way, buy this house, parent this way,
drive this car, drink this beverage,
and try this diet.

The pressure can be overwhelming at times!

So, let's challenge ourselves to use our
own uniqueness and creativity and be
just the person God created us to be!

So, I will...
 be myself.

I am...
a child of God
a wife
a mother
a grandmother
a daughter
a sister
a friend
a blogger
a backseat rider
a daydreamer
a volunteer

Now, go out there
and
be yourself.

So happy to see you back!
Yes, God wants us to love ourselves for who WE are. He does!
(we can be so hard on ourselves and we shouldn't).

Great challenge!
