When I first started my blog back in 2010,
the name that I gave it was,
The Backseat Rider.
The reason being that my husband rides a
motorcycle and I ride on the back.
I originally wanted to use,
The Backseat Writer, but to my dismay,
it was already taken.
We ride as often as we can.
And in Southern California, even the winters are usually mild.
So we are able to ride most of the year.
But this "winter"... it was colder than normal and riding
was out of the question, unless we wanted to be chilled to the bone.
The weather forecast for this weekend is supposed
to be in the mid 70's!!
Can you feel my anticipation?
Time to put on my black leather, boots & gloves
and get out on to the open road via the backseat!

Your banner picture is breathtaking! The anticipation you felt is one I feel so often, although not yet, in our corner of the world. Love the picture of the two of you and I hope you had a wonderful time together. Made me eager for the Spring around here.
Must be awesome to just get on the bike and go. I haven't been on a bike in years. When I was a little girl my daddy had a full dresser Harley and every Sunday morning he'd put me on it and we'd go down to my Aunt house which was one town away for breakfast. It was the highlight of my week! Enjoy your rides! :)
