My Visual Prayer Journal

This is what my refrigerator looks like.

On the outside of my refrigerator are photos, verses and a magnetized notepad from my daughter with a sweet note she wrote to me at Christmastime that I love to look at every day. Some people like to keep a prayer journal to pray for their loved ones. I too have made prayer journals to pray for my family and friends on a daily basis. I found though that I liked this idea better. I put pictures of those that I am praying for on my fridge. Yes... they might have started off as a graduation or engagement photo but they have eventually become a part of my visual prayer journal. Every morning when I come into my kitchen, I see these smiling faces staring back at me and I lift each and every one up to the Lord in prayer. And although distance may separate me from some of these whose faces greet me each day; the Lord keeps them close to my heart in prayer.
