Pink & White Lace

My husband and I and some friends of ours traveled by motorcycle, to the Blossom Trail a few years ago, in the month of March.  What beauty surrounded us on all sides.  Trees full of blooms in shades of pink and white- like lace, hung daintily over each branch.

Hope you are enjoying the blooms in your neck of the woods.

Psalm 96:11-13 “Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad, let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the Lord.” (NIV)

"No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn."
                                                                           -Hal Borland

"The last fling of winter is over ... The earth, the soil itself, has a dreaming quality about it. It is warm now to the touch; it has come alive; it hides secrets that in a moment, in a little while, it will tell."
                                                                          - Donald Culross Peattie

"Loveliest of trees, the cherry now
Is hung with bloom along the bough."
                                                 - A. E. Houseman, Shropshire Lad

Gorgeous! I can't wait until we have blooms...that's usually our May. Still a little ways away! But it's getting warmer! :)

Yep, Spring is the loveliest time of the year. Too bad it doesn't last longer.
