A Full Heart

My Heart is Full.

You may be asking, "How does one's heart get full?"

And then, I will tell you...

My heart is full because my precious daughter who lives
1,500 miles away sent me this Mother's Day card & gift.

The necklace and bracelet were made by her, for me.

My heart is starting to fill...

Then I awoke to a garden this morning on my very
own kitchen counter.  The flowers are from each of the men
in my family, 2 sons & one amazing husband.  The other one
came later today from some very dear friends.

My heart continues to fill...

This morning, after church we enjoyed a
wonderful brunch put on by my sister-in-law.

It was attended by my mom-in-law & father-in-law,
2 sister- in-law's and their families.  What a fun time we all had!

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures while there,
but I will always have the memory
of the special time, as we mom's, celebrated each other!

My heart is almost full...

In the early evening, we (me and my 3 men),
went to our traditional Mother's Day dinner.

This special place is not near our house
but in a cozy little town about an hour away.

I look so forward to this place and this tradition every year.

Its location is in the country and we enjoy our meal
in the outdoors.

It is at this time that I am celebrated, as Mom.

During our celebrating we enjoy some fine Italian cuisine

like this...

and this...

And we always leave room for this...

The(long E sound) very BEST strawberry shortcake I have
ever eaten!

I count it a privilege to spend this time

with these precious gifts that God placed

in my womb, so many years ago.

My Heart... is now Full.

I thought that I had commented on this post, but maybe it was one I read at work...I'm not supposed to post on social networks at work....

ANYWAY....your family is lovely and your mother's day sounds perfect. Children are such a blessing and a good husband is too. God has truly blessed you my bloggy friend.
