Do you ever wonder what to do
with your past Christmas cards?
I know it has only been just a few
days into 2012, but what do you
usually do with your cards from
family and friends after Christmas?
Some of you may keep a few that you
might display on your fridge or even
put into a nice picture frame.
Maybe you will use the pictures and cards
to make a craft or
a gift for Christmas next year.
OR...
You might just file them in the
"round file".
We have started a tradition in our home,
a few years back.
We put all of our
Christmas cards (past) in a basket.
Each day, starting on January 1st of
the new year, we pick a card,
and pray for that family or person
who we received a card from.
We do this until all of the families
have been prayed for.
What a blessing it is for us, to lift
up those who mean so much to us,
in prayer.
LIFE IS SHORT,
PRAY HARD.

Great idea! I know other people who do this also. It is a good way to bless other people.
Hi Cricket, I love this idea and so much better than just recycling them.
Have a wonderful afternoon.
Hugs, Noreen
I'm sending you a Christmas card next year!
Great idea.
Amazingly great {and thoughtful} idea.
We have done the same...but our card pile has really grown small through the years...we get ecards instead or those dancing elfs.
This is a fantastic idea! Mine are still in a basket on my counter. I generally box them up with the Christmas stuff until I replace them the next year. Don't know why. I just do.
I really love this idea.
