IPad Blogger From the Heart

I am not too sure what this post is going to look like. You see, I am now in my temporary location, that being Texas, and I don't have a computer to use at this time.

I did though bring my iPad, my birthday gift from my sweet husband. So it is on this new piece of technology that I bring this blog to you.

As my daughter awaits for the arrival of her baby, I am reminded of a morning devotional that I went through a few years back. One chapter was titled "The Heart of the Home".

It talked about how WE, as the women of our homes are the mortar that holds our home and our families together. We are also the remodelers and harmonizers of our homes.

Since my arrival here in Houston last week, my daughter and I found a beautiful park with a walking path. During our morning walks together we have talked a lot about motherhood.

She cannot wait to hold her precious daughter in her arms and teach her about the God who created such a miracle, as she. She has vowed to her God to be teachable as she takes the reigns to be the kind of mother that He would have her to be.

It touches my heart as I hear her words and see the deep and abiding love she has for her daughter, who is still in the womb.

I am proud of my daughter and can't wait to see how she builds her home brick by brick, and fills it with sweet harmony.

Just wishing and hoping
and thinking and praying...
