It was a rainy but beautiful Saturday morning
as my friend, Rita and I started off at the first house
on the Holiday Home Tour.
The Holiday Home Tour is a fundraising event put on every
December for The Cancer Support Community.
I volunteer at The CSC one day a week, in the office.
For the small price of $35 you get to tour 5
beautiful homes that are decked out for Christmas;
And support a very worthy cause.
This year there were a few very expensive homes that
were in gated communities, so they had shuttles to
transport ALL of us there.
(it was a great turn out!)

The homes were decorated with gorgeous Christmas trees
in almost every room of the house.
The fireplaces were all lit making it warm and cozy.
Huge lighted wreaths and other Christmas decor graced
every room with its' reds, greens, golds and silvers.
And not only did you get to step into these fabulous homes,
you also got to exit through their backyards.
you also got to exit through their backyards.
Most backyards looked like parks with their perfectly
manicured lawns, gardens and swimming pools.
We weren't allowed to take pictures in any of the homes,
but I was able to snap a photo (although it was on my cell phone)
of the killer view, from the backyard, of one of the homes on the tour.
It was just gorgeous!
You can see some of the other homes
and the small town below.
I LOVE starting December off this way.
Helping a worthy cause
Being a "looky-lou"
Inspired with the Christmas Spirit
AND
Spending the day with a good friend
You can't get better than that!!
