Well, this is it!
The year that I will turn the Big 50 - F I F T Y- Half a Century.
This big birthday won't come for several months yet, so in the meantime,
I will take some strolls down memory lane. You may be a bit older than me
or a bit younger, but I am sure as I take my walk, there will be something that
will spark a memory, even for you, and bring a smile to your face.
I hope you will join me.

I remember wearing similar clothes! You sure do not look almost 50! You look much younger!
You can be the little girl on the right and I will be the tall girl in the middle that is 9 years older than you. Wait - that won't work because I'm short.
I'm turning the big 5-0 this year too! 1961 must have been a VERY good year!
We all laugh at those clothes, but as a kid, they were awesome! I remember fondly an all-in-one pansuit type thing in sky blue with the word "gas" on the back to make me look like a gas station attendant. Yes, you read that right. And I loved it! Until kids made the gas/farting connection and then I never wore it again. Also remember knitted ponchos and leotards and bodysuits!
