The Blossom Trail

The Blossom Trail is located in central California, Fresno County to be exact. This area is known for its agriculture. There are many fruit orchards that bloom in the spring, starting mid February until the first week or two in March. The Blossom Trail is over 60 miles long. These roads are frequented each spring with cars, motorcycles and bicycles just to see the beautiful blooms on the trees. The fruit trees that make up these orchards are plum, apricot, peach, nectarine, apple, orange and lemon. The colors of the blossoms are spectacular in their whites, pinks and reds and their scent is so wonderfully fragrant, mile after mile.

These pictures were taken from our ride last spring. It is absolutely something to see!

I hope you are enjoying your Spring thus far!

Crickit,
Do you have an email address?
To answer your question about my header picture, no I didn't take it. Sure wished I did!

Thanks for visiting me over at my "place." Your pictures are breathtaking! Here in the Midwest, we are still experiencing some cold weather but the daffodils and tulips are bravely coming up and Spring is in the air-I can feel it. Have a great weekend.
